"No, indeed, I do not wish to avoid the walk." Lizzy Bennet, pride and prejudice

Jane Austen's characters loved their walks and I can see why.  It was a beautiful day today, no need for a jacket, warm and sunny after raining so much these past few days.  So in a quest for exercise I walked towards the sports center only to decide that an outdoor walk would be much more enjoyable.  And it was.  The grounds are quite lovely and I have not even begun to explore them all.  I went as far as what could be an old road or aquaduct of some sort.  There were old stone walls that were crumbled.  I would have gone farther but started seeing old shell casings with "small game" printed on them.  Since I do not know the english hunting seasons and did not wish to be mistaken for small game wearing a purple university of evansville sweatshirt I turned back.  Deer would be quite smart if they adapted a bright orange coat so that hunters would think they were other hunters.  Natural Selection, come on, keep up!!!!
Anyways I took some lovely pictures on my walk, and picked some flowers which are now in my room.
To end: If you are a Jane Austen reader you will remember how her characters always return from their walks with their skirts covered in mud.  That is not a poetic device it is the truth.
Dirty but very Very worth it
