I took a BATH!

I love love LOVE BATH!!!! which is of course where I went this past weekend.
On friday we set off in our coach.. first making a stop in Oxford. I was with my friend Blair who has a friend studying in Oxford so we met up with her.  What a cool truly college town.  We ate lunch, walked around the covered market, had tea... oh and i bought a dress for 5 pounds...
( as a side note let me take this moment to interrupt for a celebration!  THE EXCHANGE RATE IS NO LONGER 2 DOLLARS TO EVERY POUND.. it is now more along the 1:50s... hey any little bit helps.. sound the trumpets and sing out loud)
So yes my 5 pound dress was quite a deal and it's really cute and looks good on me.. okay moving on!
Then we moved on to Bath.. we ate dinner.. settled into the fantastic place we were staying... Brooks Guesthouse Bath, in case anyone goes there and needs  nice place to stay!  Their breakfasts are so so SO great!
The next day we visited Wells and Glastonburry.. to see a cathedral, a market, and Abby ruins.  Then in the Afternoon we get to the truly great part of the trip...
You see England's weather has taken a sever plunge into FREEZING recently... i know i know... I'm a wimp when i comes to cold, I've lived in San Diego most of my life!  I have an excuse!
Anyways on Saturday afternoon Blair and I went to the Thermea Bath Spa.. which uses the natural hot water springs the Romans used (only they treat it so the water isn't green and it's not unhealthy :) )
IT WAS WONDERFUL!  Only 25 pounds for two hours and a towel.  Also we could go to either the downstairs indoor pool, which had a bubbles area and a current round the edges... or the rooftop pool which overlooks the city.. or the steam rooms!  I WAS SO WARM!!!!!  Also my skin is very soft now.. it is a good thing I do not live in Bath.. I would never ever leave there.. especially in the winter!!!!!
Then Blair and I had dinner at a fantastic pizza place! and italian ice cream that was SO GOOD!!!  Then we went to see the James Bond movie at the cinema.
The next day we went to the Roman Baths, Stonehenge, and the city of Salisburry.
Now back here for another week of work!
cheers
Teresa

If ever there is anyone who enjoyed their time more in England than you have I'd be amazed.
