Murphy and his Law....

"What ever can go wrong will go wrong".... isn't that a great way to start this adventure of mine?
Second time to a different country, First time living abroad and it seems murphy and his law will follow me
Today is monday... I leave Thursday, late last night I found my precious laptop Titania has a broken hinge.  I rush her too the emergency room aka Mac store this morning to find that who knows how long it will take to fix her never mind get her back to me... and no definitely not in time for my imminent departure.
So tonight I will go back to try and figure out a workable solution... most likely the family will buy a new laptop (my mother has been planning to get one for herself) I will take the new one with me on my adventures and the family will rehabilitate mine for home use.
sooooo not the smoothest of starts but it could be worse.. and knock on wood hopefully it won't
I will say I'm glad it happened here and not England though I am told there is a Mac store in London, but i doubt they would be prepared for the sobbing mess that would be me in this situation abroad.
Keep your fingers crossed, so much going on and I haven't even left yet. YIKES!

You can buy the adapter kit at the apple store here or in England. :)

Have a good trip!

I gave you a plug too. Hope your journey was "uneventful" and you didn't end up in Ossetia or something.
