in order to leave the country and travel to a new one you really only need one thing and one thing only.... your passport. Hence my dismay when I arrived in the international line for Delta and pulled out my passport wallet only to find NO PASSPORT! what horrors, i went through every possible
scenario in my mind... I would miss my flight, miss my connection, get lost in the bowels of London, and

resurface 6 months later living in a cave in Tibet. . . but luckily I live 15 minutes away from the airport and had arrived at the airport early. My passport was retrieved from the copier (yes i left it is the copier ...
grrrr) and I got my tickets and got to the gate in time... Then they called my name over the loudspeaker... WHAT NOW... I thought ready to give up on my trip all together. So i went to the desk and that is when my luck changed. They were upgrading me to first class.. thank you delta :)
yay frequent
flier miles. It was pretty ritzy

... they feed you real food and everything. So after that flight I arrived in Ohio for the second leg of my journey to London. I get on the plane (no upgrade this time ...
booo :( ) but I go on and get and empty seat next to me ... which is oh so nice on long flights.. I might not have slept but I did at least get some rest.
Once at the airport I got my stuff,

found my group, and got on a coach for a long drive up to Grantham, England and the magical place that is now my home... in this one case evansville did not give us deceiving pictures it really is that great. Pictures soon to come.
